“Being satisfied in God (or anything) always seems easier when all is going well. But when things you love are being stripped out of your hands, then the test is real. If God remains precious in those moments, then his supreme worth shines more brightly. He is most glorified.
The most meaningful testimonies I receive are when people tell me that it was a vision of the sovereignty and goodness of God that got them through the most difficult times of their life.
Here is one of those testimonies. I tremble with the glad responsibility of introducing you to Ian & Larissa Murphy in this video. Tremble, because it is their story and so personal. So delicate. So easily abused. So unfinished. Glad, because Christ is exalted over all things.”
- John Piper.
Without a doubt, one of the most touching love stories. Love that goes beyond, stays, and grows in hard times.
Wow. Amen.
This is seriously amazing
This is beautiful.
Seriously bawling my eyes out right now. So so beautiful.

A runner makes his way along a trail on a butte in front of the “super Moon” at Papago Park in Phoenix, Arizona May 5, 2012. A “super Moon” will light up Saturday’s night sky in a once-a-year cosmic show, overshadowing a meteor shower from remnants of Halley’s Comet, the U.S. space agency NASA said.
The Moon will seem especially big and bright since it will reach its closest spot to Earth at the same time it is in its full phase, NASA said. REUTERS/Darryl Webb

Bersih 3.0 Same Day Edit by lumierasia (by joshuaongys)
The Bersih 3.0 Peace Rally was held worldwide on Saturday 28 April to send a clear signal to the Malaysian government that a cleaner and fairer election process was needed to move the country forward. I had the choice of attending the Melbourne rally, but instead chose to sit at home to do my essay. The videos and status updates that surfaced on Facebook only made me feel worse about my decision. For so long I’ve felt disengaged from my home country, and somewhat so with Australia. Seeing the actions, diversity, love, respect and unity of my countrymen against a corrupt government reminded me of the values of which the country was founded on.
While I have temporarily escaped their wrath, the bigger issues still lie in place: a need for better leadership, government accountability and transparency. For sure, Malaysia is not the only country with these issues, however the refusal of the government to comply with international standards will hinder its goal towards becoming a developed country by 2020.
I cannot begin to express how emotional I felt when watching this video, seeing Malaysians from all races and ages coming together to make a difference, calling upon the world to scrutinise the government. Images of familiar KL roads laden with tear gas and violence will forever remind us of our frustration, but I applaud the organisers for their bravery in standing up for what they believe in.

So stay there, ‘cause I’ll be coming over. And while our blood’s still young, it’s so young it runs. We won’t stop till it’s over, won’t stop to surrender.
